Here is the solution to the position presented in the last Saturday Solving article:

Hopefully you found that interesting and challenging. I know I did! And now, I present the next position up for examination, the winner being … Botvinnik!

This game did not make it into my series of posts on Botvinnik as it isn’t in the database, but it’s a beauty. Black misplayed a King’s Indian (Saemisch Variation) quite badly, and has a difficult position. With white to move, the Patriarch found a way to exploit the hanging black pieces on the kingside to win material in stunning fashion.
