From time to time I have openings for 1-2 serious students. If you’re seeing this page, that means I have a current opening! I work best with ambitious, self-motivated people rated between 1500-1800 USCF.

I can offer one-on-one assistance in many different areas of the game, tailored specifically to a player’s style and particular needs. Struggling in the opening? I’m happy to share from my extensive library of analysis, and play training games in specific variations to help you get a feel for certain positions. I also have many challenging exercises to offer that will be sure to improve your calculation, pattern recognition, endgame skill, and more.
